Steve Wilmes

Interlinx Associates has been lucky to secure the services of Steve Wilmes as part of their CRM implementation team.  Steve is a utility player, able to fill many CRM roles very effectively.

Steve Wilmes has been a CRM implementation specialist for over 20 years, working with a variety of solutions, and wearing every hat imaginable—project manager, business analyst, developer, trainer, architect—it’s the variety that he says he likes the best.  He’s also consulted and worked in a wide variety of industries, including advertising, manufacturing, banking, defense, nonprofit, government contracting and retail, in name-brand companies like JB Hunt, Mayo Clinic, Cargill, and Anderson Windows.  Projects have ranged from 10 users to thousands.

Steve’s interest in software applications started at an early age.  He graduated from Cottage Grove Elementary, Middle and High School, and ended up at University of Wisconsin River Falls.  There he double majored in Business Administration and Computer Science.  Anything with computers were his favorite classes.  Steve worked full time since the age of 16, so there wasn’t much time for extracurricular “fun” but he did have time to participate in Debate and cross country running in high school.

Steve’s ability to juggle many tasks is a testament to raising twin boys and a daughter.  There are plenty of soccer games nationwide and even internationally that Steve and his wife, Rhonda, attend.  All three kids have held down jobs from an early age (like their dad),  in addition to their busy school and sports schedules.

The volunteer work is carried by Steve’s wife, who is also an avid runner.  She’s also the nicest person Steve has ever met.  What a lucky guy.

When not working on CRM projects, Steve watches soccer on TV, and plays video games when he can get control of the Xbox.
