Jan Rooney has come to Interlinx bringing a wealth of experience technology sales, service and support. Recognized with awards and recognition for leadership, achievement, and excellence, Jan has a focus and dedication to her colleagues and customers. She will be working on the small business, SugarCRM and Salesforce side of Interlinx in addition to being a training and facilitation resource.
Jan spent most of her professional career as a sales executive, managing accounts across the Midwest and dealing with Fortune 500 companies like United Healthcare Group, Yellow Freight, General Motors and Cenex. She built a $1 million territory from start-up in one year by consistently acquiring customers using consultative sales presentations focused on cost and time savings for her clients. And she has led teams to create and form Go-to-Market strategies which included extensive market research, competitive landscape assessments, SWOT analysis, and development of value propositions.
Jan has experience transitioning clients from one technology platform to another, dealing with change management, strategy, project management and training. Jan has also worked in customer support, most recently as a software support technician, so she knows and understands the sales process beyond the sale alone. She has walked the walk.
Jan completed the Xerox Professional Selling Skills levels I, II & III and Xerox Management Skills. She has a Mini-Masters in E-Commerce from the University of St. Thomas.
Her passion for horses takes her out of the comforts of the office into the rough and tumble, hands-on feed and farm arena. Even there, she has created websites and eMarketing campaigns to enhance the businesses she has supported. Jan lives in Greenfield, MN, with her husband and two children.
